HySpex by Norsk Elektro Optikk

HySpex is a line of high-end hyperspectral cameras, designed and produced by Norsk Elektro Optikk AS in Oslo, Norway. The cameras, also known as spectral imagers, are used for remote sensing as well as process control. In geology and mining, the cameras are used from satellites, airplanes and UAVs for green and brown field exploration. UAV and field platforms are used for production monitoring, grade control and stockpile management. The hyperspectral cameras are also employed in core scanners for mineral identification and mapping, and over conveyor belts for continuous quality control. The list of customers that use HySpex cameras directly or via services rendered to them include USGS, NASA, AngloAmerican, BHP, Vale, many national aerospace agencies and countless number of R&D institutions worldwide.
