Mr. Kuhn joined Avrupa Minerals in July 2010 after working with Metallica Mining in Oslo, Norway and various companies in Turkiye. He has 45 years of experience in the minerals' exploration business in North America, Central Asia and Europe. He earned an A.B. Degree from Dartmouth College, US, in 1978, and an M.S. Degree from the University of Montana, US, in 1983. Mr. Kuhn has worked in a variety of geological terranes, exploring for gold, silver, base metals, uranium, and phosphate deposits, and has spent time as a production geologist in the deep underground mines of the Coeur d`Alene Mining District, historically one of the world’s most important silver districts. Mr. Kuhn has managed successful exploration programs in the US, Turkiye, Kosovo, and Portugal. He has been involved in base and precious metal discoveries in Turkey, including the Taç and Çorak polymetallic deposits, the Cerattepe Cu-Au VMS deposit, the Altıntepe epithermal Au deposit, the Diyadın Carlin-style Au deposit, and the Karakartal porphyry Cu-Au deposit. Mr. Kuhn was involved with the original mapping, description, and drill targeting of the Çöpler porphyry Au deposit (10-million-ounce gold deposit now being mined by SSR Mining). During his time with Avrupa Minerals, he led the discovery teams at the Slivova Au-Ag deposit in Kosovo, and at the Sesmarias Cu-Zn massive sulfide deposit in the Iberian Pyrite Belt of Portugal. Mr. Kuhn currently lives in Portugal where he manages the Sesmarias project.

Avrupa Minerals Ltd. Drilling in Portugal, Kosovo, and Finland

Avrupa Minerals Ltd. is a Canadian-based, growth-oriented, junior exploration and development company directed to discovery of mineral deposits, using a hybrid prospect generator business model. The Company holds one 49%-owned license in Portugal, the Alvalade VMS Project, presently optioned to Sandfire Mineira Portugal Lda. in an earn-in joint venture agreement. The Company holds one 100%-owned exploration license covering the Slivova gold deposit in Kosovo and is actively advancing four prospects in central Finland through its partnership with Akkerman Finland Oy. Avrupa focuses its project generation work in politically stable and prospective regions of Europe, presently including Portugal, Finland, and Kosovo. The Company continues to seek and develop other opportunities around Europe.

The Company is presently drilling at the Sesmarias VMS deposit within the Alvalade Joint Venture and at the Slivova gold deposit in Kosovo. Avrupa is also planning for a drilling project near the historic Kangasjarvi Zn-Cu Mine in the Pyhasalmi District in central Finland.
